CMP Prep Classes

CMP Prep Classes
knowledge So, you have decided to sit for the CMP (Certified Meeting Professional) Exam.

  • Do you wonder how you can juggle your schedule & your studies?
  • Do you prefer in-person classes where you can share ideas with peers?
  • Do you wish someone could help you make the material more manageable?

Then you’ve come to the right place!

MEETing Needs can help you navigate the CMP International Standards & related study material. Approaching the exam “cold” can be quite intimidating, as most of us haven’t taken a standardized test since the SATs. The CMP Prep Classes will lead you through test taking strategies and review key test subjects. These interactive sessions will draw upon the groups’ industry experiences and apply them to the exam context.

Carolyn has been running these CMP Prep Classes since 1997 – over 200 students have been through these classes and there is an over 95% pass rate after participating.

Here’s what some students have said about Carolyn’s class:

“Carolyn, your passion, dedication and love for the hospitality industry shines through your CMP course. Thank you for being a trusted and amazing resource throughout my CMP certification process. You truly were a key component to my success.”

“Carolyn is extremely knowledgeable and engaging. She breaks up the sessions in a way that makes sense, opposed to reading the books straight through. The class kept me on track with my reading and progress.”

In-person Prep Classes are held two times per year (depending on interest) and sessions are usually held in the evenings from 5:30 – 8:00 pm every other week – 9 sessions in total. Locations vary depending on interested participants. If there is interest from several people in one office – alternate arrangements can be made.

Online classes are also available. Online sessions will have 7 “live” classes via Zoom, several video supplements, 1 review session and the option of a practice exam depending on where the students are located. Online classes are held after hours (typically 5:30-7:30 PM Eastern) – timing is flexible. depending on where students are located.
